Mud pie on the ocean floor.
Scientists on the Alvin exploration of the Gulf of Mexico discovered this mud pipe on the ocean floor at a depth of nearly 10,000 feet. They brought one sample back to research further.
NOTE: never seen before. not sure how they are created. Need further research.
